For any abnormalities regarding PMS that are not listed in FAQ check also for any infections from malicious
software, virus and non-genuine copies of Microsoft office

1.Corrupted Database :
There are several things that can happen that may leave database file damaged (corrupted).
The symptoms of a corrupted database can range from #Deleted appearing in certain records to you being
unable to open the database.
Solution:
Tools -> Repair PMS application or us the small icon shown
in small circle below to repair PMS_Vessel_Data.accdb

2. Error: 'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)'
The cause of this error is that the Microsoft .Net framework is not installed or is damaged.
Solution:
To fix this error you have to install .Net 2.0 framework.

Unregister and then re-register Windows Installer
Unregister Windows Installer. To do this, click Start, click Run, type msiexec /unregister
in the Open box, and then click OK. Reregister Windows Installer. To do this, click click Start, click Run, type msiexec /regserver
in the Open box, and then click OK.

3. 'Unrecognized database format' error :
Solution:
re-install AccessRuntime OR repair AccessRuntime and restart PC

4. Subsystem.SortOrder error
This error may appear when opening PMS database when the database is older version than 1.1.8
Solution:
Install database version 1.1.8 or higher

5. Subsystem.SortOrder error when importing or exporting data
This error may appear when importing or exporting data
Solution:
check that your PMS_Vessel_Data.accdb version is 1.1.8 or higher.
If it is overwrite the ExportDB.dat file

6. Training vessel import/export operation
Training vessel is made for training purposes only and is filled with sample items.
You can use export operation, but you can’t import data from training vessel

7. When PMS opens asks for password
Press cancel and try to open it again. This may happen only if you open PMS for the first time.
